तीसरा खण्ड श्रीविद्या-परम्परा के सबसे technical हिस्से में जाता है। श्रीचक्र-राज-निलया (पैंतीस-नाम से शुरू) के साथ श्रीचक्र की संरचना का वर्णन है, इसके नौ त्रिकोण, बीच का बिन्दु, और उसके चारों ओर बैठने वाली परिवार-देवियाँ।
परिवार-देवियों में सबसे महत्त्वपूर्ण हैं मन्त्रिणी (श्रीमन्त्रिणी, मंत्र-शक्ति), वाराही (दण्डनाथा, बुद्धि-शक्ति), और पन्द्रह नित्या-देवियाँ (हर तिथि की एक)। ये सब ललिता की सेविका-शक्तियाँ हैं, और हर एक का अपना अधिकार-क्षेत्र है।
श्रीचक्र की रचना नौ-त्रिकोणों का संयोजन है, जिसमें चार ऊपर की ओर शिव-तत्त्व, पाँच नीचे की ओर शक्ति-तत्त्व। इन नौ-त्रिकोणों के परस्पर-छेदन से 43 छोटे त्रिकोण बनते हैं, और बीच में बिन्दु। हर त्रिकोण का अपना नाम है, अपना अधिष्ठाता-देवी है, और अपना मन्त्र है। श्रीविद्या की पूजा-विधि का इसी पर आधार है।
तीसरा-खण्ड श्रीचक्र और उसकी निवासिनी-देवियों का परिचय देता है। श्रीचक्र की संरचना नौ-त्रिकोणों से बनती है, चार ऊर्ध्व-मुखी (शिव-त्रिकोण) और पाँच अधो-मुखी (शक्ति-त्रिकोण)। इनके संयोजन से कुल चौवालीस-त्रिकोण बनते हैं, बीच में एक बिन्दु जो ‘सर्व-आनन्द-मय-चक्र’ कहलाता है।
परिवार-देवियाँ चौदह की संख्या में हैं, और हर-एक का अपना मन्त्र, अपना न्यास-स्थान, अपनी ध्यान-मूर्ति। इनमें सबसे-प्रसिद्ध हैं डाकिनी (मूलाधार में), राकिनी (स्वाधिष्ठान में), लाकिनी (मणिपूर में), काकिनी (अनाहत में), साकिनी (विशुद्ध में), हाकिनी (आज्ञा में), और याकिनी (सहस्रार में)। यह कुण्डलिनी-शास्त्र की सबसे-पुरानी पारिभाषिक-योजना है।
आधुनिक-शोध-कार्य में डग्लस रेनफ्रू ब्रुक्स (Douglas Renfrew Brooks) ने ‘द सीक्रेट ऑफ़ द थ्री सिटीज़’ (1990) में श्रीविद्या के इस त्रिपुर-त्रिकोण पक्ष पर सबसे-विस्तृत अंग्रेज़ी-अध्ययन किया। रोचेस्टर विश्वविद्यालय के यह विद्वान-शिक्षक श्रीविद्या-साधक भी हैं, जो पश्चिमी-अकादमी में दुर्लभ बात है।
